So with the recent nerf to Vigor in general would it not be nice to have some new rune options that pertain to endurance / vigor?
Superior Rune of Combat……i couldnt think of a better name haha
+25 Precision
+35 Vitality
When Hit 25% chance to gain 3 Sec of Vigor. (cooldown 10s)
+65 Precision
+100 Vitality
When you use an Elite skill you gain 50% endurance (cooldown 60s)
I know a similar rune exists -Adventurer- (but not everyone needs/wants/has access to conditions or needs power with other builds). With the increase in everyone’s damage output(WvW/PvP more particularly)…some classes could really benefit from an occasional extra dodge once in a while. Plus a rune like Combat could blend well with both power and condition builds while not forcing hybrid damage. Just a thought. Anyone with me or like/dislike the idea!?!

I would say a rune set that gives passive endurance regen, or vigor duration increase. But the problem is not many classes would even want to use it outside of a very specific build. If anything, this change will only (and probably was intended to) put more focus on the upcoming resistance and other invulnerability effects.

No combat related stats at all.
On kill transform randomly into X (X being any of the transforms in game that can support continued fighting)

I’d argue and say that it is combat related. When do you use your elite out of combat? When are you hit by someone/something when not in combat? Dodging is one of the best ways to mitigate impending damage and lots of classes have traits that remove conditions or apply boons when you dodge.
Personally i would use Adventurer Runes if they didnt have condition damage as main stat….don’t use condi. Thats why i think precision(used by power builds for direct damage and for condi builds for condi on crit) and vitality (bc anyone short of running full bunker or has a generally low health pool could benefit from extra HP especially when the general damage output is a lot higher) are the most fair stat distribution to pair with vigor / endurance effects bc any build could take 1 trait and benefit from extra dodging other than just the dodge itself.
Discombobulation would work if you maintained your normal skill set upon transformation….and be hilarious haha!!!
