Guild Wars 2

So im a newbie, i picked my server at random, sadly its dead. the only community i can find are people in queensdale farming the events there. I’m thinking about going to a new server, my current server is Northern Shiverpeaks. any advice on a new server, i cannot find a group for my first dungeon, nor do people do the meta’s in my area often. just looking for some advice. my guild has a select group of actives. not very many tho.

depends on what you doing i heard tarnished coast with their rpgs are really active pve. id suggest one of the top tier if you into wvw blackgate sor or jq. dont know about pvp

You can guest around to different servers to find one that might be a better fit. Remember, if you delete all your characters to transfer at no cost, to put everything non-soulbound in your bank, as it will transfer with you. Also, keep in mind that transfers have a 7-day cooldown. Best of luck! =)

Basically you choose serwer for WvW.
PvE is a matter of guesting and finding ppl to play with in that server.
Recently guilds don’t work the way they should, cause half of ppl are bored and almost left, coming back for events and once a week and the other part goes for grindfest. And don’t have time to play maps or other stuff. So in the end I socialize more with ppl that are currently on the map than with any group/guild I’m in.
In the end servers are partly died out cause there is no motivation to explore anymore.

Things like that would make ppl do maps again cause reward would be finally nice for them instead of grind wars we have now.

To be fair, the OP did say he was a newbie to the game. It’s very possible he isn’t able to join that particular zergfest.
