I logged on today to see a banner on the Black Lion Trading Company advertising that there were new skin tickets in the chests. i assume these are a part of the Glittering Skin Collection. I see absolutely no official posts on this, so if I were to open chests would there even be a chance to get those tickets? Also, will those skins be available to purchase my Claim Tickets? Any information about this is much appreciated before I waste my time and possibly money.

I believe that they prematurely put that up in the BLTC, because I’ve been hearing that the skins will be released tomorrow (I can’t confirm that one to be true though).

However, there are no specific skin tickets. The tickets in the black lion chests are all generic, and will get you any skin as long as you have the appropriate amount of tickets for them. So yes your tickets will be able to get them, assuming you have 1 ticket or 10 scraps, or however many they determine a skin should be (like how some are now 3-5 tickets each).

Looks like the banner went up prematurely, because they always announce it on the website when there’s a new set.

Talking to the BLTC vendor, I can confirm that he doesn’t have the Glittering skins yet.

I appreciate the quick response. It’s a good thing I asked or I would have probably used my gems on this not knowing it hasn’t been released. The way they had it worded feels like you MUST buy the chest to get a non-generic ticket because it wasn’t showing up with the claim tickets I already own.

Wouldn’t they be talking about the Improvised weapons though? Those were put in on Oct 23rd. Not even 2 weeks ago. All the other black lion weapons are “new” for at least one month, and usually 6 weeks to 2 months.

Maybe. It’s not usual at all for them to replace a weapon set after only 2 weeks. In fact, I’ve never seen it done.

Chat code are taken from that shaman’s thread on reddit. These items are likely to be released within 2 weeks but you never know.

It’s possible of course and we’ll find out soon. I have my tickets ready if they do put in the Glittering weapons. ^^

I have my tickets prepped, as well. I am very excited! Still odd they would put the banner up so pre-maturely.

Well updates usually happen on tuesdays but with them giving halloween qn extra day they pushed the usual Tuesday morning update to Wednesday. It was probably a mis communication between marketing and the programmers.

Edit: as for the improvised skins they came in the middle of the month and not at the start of the month as usual and are probably just returning to the normal schedule of releasing new BLTC skins at 4he beginning of the month. To be honest the improvised skins arent that great anyways. Humorous but not humorous to warrant a ticket on.
