Guild Wars 2

I am very new to game (haven’t made a character yet or decided on a server)… I am writing in hopes of finding out some information to make a decision on which server to choose..

1) looking for a good community, friendly and helpful.
2) I am in North America, and play all hours of the day.
3) Want a high populated server.
4) Want a server with active guilds.

I want to pick a server with no regrets as I do not want to pay for a server transfer because of being unhappy. So if you can add more information than what I have posted by all means please.

First of all,you can see server population if you look for it.To make this thing easy to you,take BlackGate.
Second thing,server actually doesn’t matter unless you like PVP.Reason is cause all servers are fused under “megaserver”,so you will find people on your map from all other servers as well.Read on forum about megaservers little more.

To be honest, since Megaserver hit, it makes little difference which server you are on. All your server really does is decide which one you represent if you go into WvWvW and gives you a theoretically better chance of being on a map with people from your own server. Allegedly.

However, my opinion is that Tarnished Coast sounds like the server for you! It is the unofficial RP server, so if you like to do a bit of chat box roleplay, doubly so.

I wanna second what GuzziHero says and recommend Tarnished Coast. Right now server pop says “Very High” so get on now before it moves to “Locked.”

Well I picked Borlis Pass.. I did look at others but I rather have a server that is not over loaded… My Lap Top runs the game okay but rather not have issues with any graphics….
