Guild Wars 2

Hi all, i dream to use on my necromancer the scythe, you have to see the “death” to walk without he’s weapon? No, i think no.
More players like mine opinion in game (like guild wars 1 dervish class with scythe).
Please Game Master, consider my request.

Necros have a scythe animation which (i think) works on all staffs.
If that doesn’t float your boat, there’s always Final Rest (got it on my necro) and that’s quite scythe-ish or if you’re really feeling flush, there’s a scythe skin but it’s very pricey.

He referring more to an actual scythe though. Not a skin.

I’d love Scythe for Necro. If we get a scythe though, I’d want a Dervish.

Since Warriors and Guardians already have cleave on Greatsword, a Dervish profession would be redundant. Instead, they should just add a new necro skill that allows them to wield a scythe for a while. Aesthetically this would make sense since the grim reaper uses a scythe and more importantly, the scythe being an aoe weapon would also actually make necros viable in PvE since they would also have access to cleave now.
