Just wondering if there is any special New Years’ sale planned.
50% discount on gems would be nice and probbably profitable for Anet aswell xD

I doubt they’d discount gem’s, purely due to the damage it would inflict on the gem/gold exchange rate.

It is highly doubtful they will ever discount gems beyond pre-purchase of expansions, they prefer targeted sales.

A discount would be nice, but gems? Unlikely.

They’ve had one every year. This was the only year there wasn’t store discounts. It really sucks. : /

January they usually make some sales, never on gems, but on items that you buy with gems.

They have always been really stingy about sales……..even the big discounts we see in the gemstore are usually an eyewash with the biggest component of the discount being ‘unidentified dyes’, boosters and other useless consumables. Only the 1st wintersday and new years if i remember correctly had decent sales

They’ve never discounted gems, only gem store items, which is perfectly fine because it benefits people who convert gold to gems as well.
