So I’m watching the live stream of Heart of Thorns on PoI and there is an event being tracked called “Celebrate the New Year of the Ram”…

Festival confirmation?

Not sure if it’s an ‘event’, but . . .

“Prepare for the Year of the Ram with new ram items and a Red Lantern!”

Would be nice if there’s a celebration to kill time while waiting for the expansion though.

Well this feed is of a “future” build of the game, so they might as well announce it if it is really a thing since they’re streaming it haha

I like your thinking.

I do hope that there is an event that starts Tuesday since Chinese New Year is Feb. 19th.

Maybe it’s a nod towards their Chinese players, for whom it really is the Year of the Ram. It’s a little strange they should throw that into a live stream for a Western audience but I’m not seeing anything outside that (unfortunately).

World Festivals are always fun. I wouldn’t mind celebrating a few non-western traditions sometime in-game!
