New Year of the Ram?
Or it’s a secret buff to battering rams in WvW?

Not sure if it’s an ‘event’, but . . .
“Prepare for the Year of the Ram with new ram items and a Red Lantern!”
Would be nice if there’s a celebration to kill time while waiting for the expansion though.
Well this feed is of a “future” build of the game, so they might as well announce it if it is really a thing since they’re streaming it haha

Maybe it’s a nod towards their Chinese players, for whom it really is the Year of the Ram. It’s a little strange they should throw that into a live stream for a Western audience but I’m not seeing anything outside that (unfortunately).

World Festivals are always fun. I wouldn’t mind celebrating a few non-western traditions sometime in-game!
