When I heard that more character creation options had been added via the makeover kits, I was exited. However, upon seeing the new colors myself, I was a bit dissapointed. Yes, they are cool colors, and yes, it’s great that we can get more unnatural colors for our characters. However, I feel like Arenanet’s efforts were put into the wrong kind of options. For example, the charr and asura are still sadly lacking in facial options, horn options, and ear options. The humans and norn (especially the females) need some less-perfect facial options—scars, age, and so on. The wild hair colors are a fine start—but I hope arenanet gives us more additions to character creation in the future.
That’s just my opinion though, and I’m more interested in seeing how everyone else feels. What do you think about the new character creation options?
