Just been PvP’ing with a few people who were using beta characters. I think the new class icons for the new specs add unnecessary confusion. Is it possible to get both normal class icons and the spec icons (if indeed we need the latter at all) next to each other, rather than replacing the normal one?

It would be cool if the elite spec icon was like a different shaped outline around the normal class icon. I found it really confusing in beta areas too – i have to look at what skills someone is using to guess what class they are (and good luck with that with all the new weapons ~)

I agree. The new icons should be aside of the class icon, not replaced. This really confuses a lot, too much icons too keep track.

I think they’re a nice addition. It’ll be less confusing once you get used to seeing the icons more often, just like how we all had to learn the icons for the base game professions and all that.

Come on! If the new nine icons causes so much confusion , how can we hope to have separate skill balance for PVP and PVE ?

They’re confusing now because you aren’t familiar with them.

After a while they’ll feel natural just like the original icons. Just give it time.

Just to reiterate, as perhaps it wasn’t clear, I don’t care about the new icons. This thread was about the replacement of the old icons. I’d be fine with both, or just the old ones, but the point I was making is about the replacement.
