Poor Kessix Hills… Humans just can’t seem to catch a break in this game.

Looks like we will be getting a new event to welcome all those new players to terragriffs lol.

Interesting, so the pre-events are about to commence, hadn’t expected them quite so far out lol
Hopefully its more than just “here’s a few mordrem in KH go kill them”

Maybe they got tired of people realizing there was an easy event chain (well, loop) between the centaur war and the toxic creatures?

Well we’ve seen the first story instance of HoT and it is set at least 2 steps ahead of the current game. We need Canach to join our DE 2.0 team and we need to learn about the disaster that was the invasion. So I suspect we will get at least 2 lead up stories/events between now and launch of HoT.

Any guesses on when all this starts? Immediately?

I hope we are not getting this instead of Halloween. I will riot.

I would guess probably not until after the beta weekend. Tuesday is my guess.

But they tweeted it now, so it might start now.

I think Gaile mentioned about a reveal today of something (to do with guilds), so I’d guess reveal this week content/start next?

Maybe it will be a bunch of npcs who want to clean the area up and we bring trash to them to a dumpster, for big rewards of course. (I’m thinking a Legendary Armor set for a hard days work of hauling trash out of that area is about right).

What I find odd is they would put what seems to be challenging content out in the open in a zone where relatively low-level characters are trying to do hearts and such.

Probably only a very small, iron farming kind of group would ever realize that something has changed in Brisbane since Drytop went online though…

:) I’d just like to point out that the “chicken or the egg” paradox was solved back when evolution came on the scene. The egg came first, which hatches into a chicken as we know it today. The creature that laid the egg was not a chicken (genetically speaking) and that creature became extinct when the species of chicken (with the genetic mutations of the chicken that we know today) became dominant. The previous creature died out.

On Topic: I’m looking forward to whatever it is that is coming to the game. It has been far too long since something happened in the game to lure me out of the city and away from the TP NPC.

This is so frustrating, the first new content for months and it’s only available for one weekend when I can’t log in. I may be able to play a little bit on Thursday night but after that it’s absolutely out of the question.

Even so I just hope it goes better than the Karka weekend. Forcing everyone into the same map for an event proved to be a very bad idea, and I can’t see how it’s going to be different now so I hope they’ve taken that into account.

Edit: I really hope the ‘concessions’ don’t include an account bound mini. If there’s one that’s tradable and I can get it later that’s fine, but if 3 years of going out of my way to make sure I get every single one is ruined because I have to work for 1 weekend that’s going to be incredibly annoying.
