It’s really good. I’ve gotten like 10 Tomes of Knowledge since the change.

Honestly the new system isn’t too bad for new player retention.

A simple solution for veterans, though…make Tomes of Knowledge more accessible outside of PvP and make level 20 scrolls usable at any level, why only 1-20? Why not 40-60?

Either leveling process was a chore for veterans, these changes aren’t actually any worse and people who think they are should really seek diagnosis for their problems.

I’m glad that it actually happened. I feel like my characters can actually prep for any future babies to be created and just insta-80 with extreme ease. So much XP gain from the new dailies that you can pass off to other characters, it’s really nice.

yea its pretty neat to get the xp now on scrolls and much more tomes. It did put a massive bandaid on the npe for me. Doing dailies and leveling an alt on the side without ever needing to go through the downright annoying process. Thats a nice thing…though the new dailies could need a bit polish with more choices (like before) of what to do and of how to do it and it would be perfect, maybe even remove the log in reward and give it out with the completion of the daily together with the AP, maybe even give 3 ap per daily and 4 ap on completion..but lets see, maybe they do some of that. See a-net? Isnt that hard to make a nice thing, almost fixes the NPE kittenup for vets…well..basically it did put a spoon of ice cream on it…which is nice…but thats a different topic for a different thread

Okay so the new dailies are driving me crazy. I cannot shake the fact that I am being forced to play PVP or WvW when I do not want to. The last iteration of the daily system I could actually complete them while playing the game the way I wanted to play it. Now I am just not getting them done because I do not want to play WvW or PvP. I am just asking that there be as much opportunity for the PvE players to complete dailies as it is for PvP’ers and WvW’ers. Just looking for some equality, thats all.

I’m unsure of how you’re forced to play PvP or WvW? You have several options in PvE that you can work with, albeit stricter than the previous daily system. If you’re a new player, you don’t have that luxury, but if you have a single level 80 you have 4 choices from each category.

It doesn’t force you anywhere unless you’re a new player, in which case I call it persuaded exploration, and once you’re a veteran and have found a comfort zone it gives you enough to work with to be fine.

If it’s an alt account or something…I don’t really know what to tell you. I guess get more character slots instead of buying another account?

Even new players can do them, since new players get different dailies than ones with 80s on their account.
