I had a thought today. With the coming of the gliders, we really need a new falling animation. The current mindless screaming and flailing might not make much sense if we can glide. What I would suggest is something similar to Aion’s falling animations. Something like a controlled and beautiful looking spiral downwards (though it could look different depending on race) would look much better than what we have now. Opinions?

I’m a bit confused. If you’re gliding, you see the glider, not a fall. And if you aren’t gliding, you’re falling to your death and should be continuing to scream and flail as much as ever, no?

Because gliding with the appropriate tool is not the same as being superman and having the ability to fly lol.

Although you could argue for a more realistic animation for falling for the charr where they don’t face plant or belly flop from just 3 feet in the air xD.

To be fair, some characters don’t even have a falling animation. They just… completely freeze in midair, including the clothes.
