Hi, i would like to just share simple idea that I had long ago but never shared it.

6th rune would have active effect with cooldown. I’ll leave you with imagination on what those effects could be. Just keep in mind we would need extra key-bind for that to release that effect.

Random examples:

  • On activation, gain one bar of endurance, cooldown X seconds.
Wish I could get back to GW1.. PvP-GvG. It feels like we are outcasted, not desired or rewarded..

You mean like WoW uses engineering gadgets? Item equipped with an active?

Ill give you my opinion based on my WoW experience:

It was a love/hate relationship, certain gadgets were op, others meh and some straight useless so lets get to the point.

Taking your random suggestion as example, imagine how annoying would be lets say a guardian with 3 dodges, plus invul, plus heals, blocks, aegis, etc, i know you said a random active, but just imagine how annoying battles would be with 3 dodges per class, it will be like when sigil of fire/air plagued pvp, the idea is ok but it may give a lot of power to already powerfull classes, plus we would need a way to use it like an extra skill slot unless we give up 1 utility for said gadget

I have no idea what you mean about wow, i’ve never played it, i did grow up with GW1 Ummm don’t make endurance refill as optional example, i’m just saying we could have active instead of passive abilities on 6th rune

Wish I could get back to GW1.. PvP-GvG. It feels like we are outcasted, not desired or rewarded..

I have an idea for a rune: Calvin’s rune based off DPS/healer builds. Ideal for those with some zealot’s gear or combinations like clerics and berserker.

1. Power +25
2. Healing power +35
3. Power +50
4. Healing power + 65
5. Power +100
6.Grant four seconds of stability, 30s cooldown.

And how would we activate these? Will they add another button to the UI specifically for a rune?

I think this defeats the whole purpose of runes. A better version of this suggestion is something we already have- ‘On activation of your elite/healing skill’

Giving your ‘oh kitten’ buttons more power to make them feel stronger fits in with the game a lot more than adding a third ‘oh kitten’ button.
