Can’t believe nobody asked this yet (or I didn’t see it).
As far as we know, every box, chest, mob, or any kind of system where an exotic can drop, have a very low chance of precursor.
If the same rules are applied for the new guaranteed exotic box from login rewards, I’d find hilarious that some people will get a totally free precursor.
Ok ok, maybe is not the case. Maybe those exotics are account bound on adquire or maybe they can be only armor pieces or maybe precursors are just out of the loot table…we don’t know yet. But there is no reason to think this box will work different to other equip boxes.
So, the question here is: is this posible?
Would be great to have an answer because if this can truly happen, this will have an impact on the economy if you force your WHOLE population in a roll dice for an exotic the same day (don’t know how big or small would be the impact, but it will).
