Cause about 2 months ago, the Fire Islands froze over and I got a permanent hairstyling kit from an BL chests. Kept it, big “DUH” there, but we’ve been at a short of new hair styles lately and and I am beginning to feel like I should have sold the darn thing, lol

Will there be any cause to make me smile in the near feature? Perhaps… July 26th?

No one knows right now but Anet. To the best of my knowledge they have not announced any upcoming new hairstyles. That doesn’t rule it out though.

There was an epic female human hairstyle someone found, and it’s been completed 100% (was even accidentally implemented for a bit), so very soon..

There was a time a while back when hairstyle kits were bugged and were allowing people to access unreleased hairstyles. Said hairstyles may be released at some point in the future but when, no one is sure.

There also appears to be a new hairstyle on the White Mantle Cleric in Stronghold Of The Faithful which can be seen here

Its been quite a while since we got new hairstyles or faces. All the recent additions were just hair colors and eye colors, which aren’t nearly as interesting.

I wish the data-mined / leaked hairs meant something, but I believe there have been hairstyles and faces added that never amounted to anything before, so I’m not really using those as indicators of anything. I do hope there are some new customization options (beyond just colors) coming sometime in the near future, for sure, though.

I stated it in another post but its been 7 months since our last set of new hairs, and we are currently on that 7th month, so I’m guessin we are gonna get one this month sometime. but 7 months is a ridiculously long wait imo. Specially when those perma kits leaked some new hairs out, so there are some already out there, the question remains when will we get them???

There were actually some asura hair styles that I believe That_Shaman managed to data mine about 3 weeks ago? I cant find the original post about it but I made sure to save them and have been very anxious to get my hands on them and see all the others.

If they do, I hope they bother to animate them this time. Seeing the horrid wooden BL updates compared to the vanilla hairstyles that move gracefully is a real shame. Lazy cash grab.

Some were datamined recently, so it’s def coming.
It would be better imo if hairstyles & faces were released more often than hair colors.
