This event is not a reoccurring one. Once it’s gone, the currency used will no longer be obtainable. Although they could keep the vendors around for a while, there’s no point in keeping them around forever and it wouldn’t make sense to when the refugee camps pack up and leave.

- exactly, they gave ample notice and warnings about them not being available post 18th patch, thanks to that warning I actually ramped up my heirloom farming to get my halo. if all of a sudden it was still available post patch it would lower it’s prestige not to mention it would be unfair to people that ramped up their heirloom farming to be able to get the limited edition item.
You can still exchange Dragon Bash and Zephyr Sanctum currencies.
So why they don’t add these to the NPC who sells these??
Personally, I would like to buy it, but they’re still bugged and unuseable at many places.

I didn’t need the achievement, I farmed those rubbles for the halo and horns. Now I have 4 horns thanks to my dragonbash helm.. So I’m double more evil than you. :P

Dragon Bash Currencies are still obtainable via dragon coffers, which are obtainable from the current living story as well as from the trading post. Personally i opened more than 10k dragon coffers after dragon bash was over.
Fortune Scraps are still obtainable from containers as well, if you got Kite Fortunes left.

Well, the Zephyr is presumably a re-occurring event, while escape/battle from/for LA is a one time event. Tho so was wintersday, and we saw how useful those frames were this year!
I think the OP’s point is that he isn’t happy about being in a position where there are potentially cool items, but because of the current implementation and the unknown factor of whether they will be fixed or not he doesn’t know whether he should buy them or not.
If they will be fixed it’s likely he wants them, if they won’t be fixed it’s likely he doesn’t want them.

If they will be fixed it’s likely he wants them, if they won’t be fixed it’s likely he doesn’t want them.
The tokens are taking up space in the OPs bank, the items will just take those spots. Fixed is a relative thing, they show horns or a halo, they may not show them how you like but they still show them. You can take the opportunity now or miss out.
It is a vaild point that this “content” isn’t a returning one, however they will not remove the Scarlet’s Supply Bags from your inventory, just won’t drop anymore, as Dragon Coffers for a good while. So I still don’t really get it. About the Fix: Until these are “broken”, I don’t know how they expect us to get it. Asurans and Charrs are in trouble here…

BTW; Bought it. 10g for me is not mutch, but for many its waaay lot.
Most of people didn’t even had 10g in same time.

10 g won’t break your bank and there’s nothing honestly of use to spend the heirlooms on otherwise so why not just buy it? If not you’re just wasting your heirlooms.

A ripoff is when you buy something and don’t know what you’re getting. Make the decision to buy it, or don’t make the decision to buy it. I bought the halo, but not the horns. Halo looks fine on my character.
If you don’t like how it looks, don’t buy it. Simple enough. I don’t see this as a game changer.
