In a post back in August I believe they mentioned a plan about new legendarys and new types of legendarys in 2013, but so far I haven’t heard a single word about how far this has come, I’m not complaining though, I’m just hoping for some feedback about where Anet is with this project, as well as where they are with the system of making a precursor instead of farming it or getting really lucky.

Any response or information regarding this would be lovely! <3

if they didn’t add them in this patch they wont be coming until 2014

Well I kinda expected this.. was just hoping for some feedback from someone who might know more about when to expect news on these new legendarys, or what I might prep for to make a precursor

Judging by some dev posts, precursor crafting is close to completed and will be added in early 2014. My guess is they have different teams working on the new legendaries, but I have yet to see any info about when to expect them.

New Legendaries and precursors crafting will be in 2014 now. Hopefully soon.

i hope the new ones got beter skins cuz this skins are not good in my taste

I can’t remember where, but I’m pretty sure they’re bundling all the features into one patch after the last 4 content patches dealing with Scarlett.

They talked about new ones in the works but they did not say anything about them coming out this year. More then likely the new ones are going to be put out with new ways of getting precursor.

I wonder who designed the new legendaries since Kekei is no longer with ANet?

Some people really need to read at least official news from Anet before saying stuff like : ‘’but so far I haven’t heard a single word about how far this has come’’.

Exactly the same post appear over and over each weeks. So quick recap of the last year of news about this subject.

- Anet talk about a scavenger hunt for precusor and new legendary weapons (1 year ago)
- Anet talk about incoming new legendary weapons, new legendary items and crafting precusors in the second part of 2013 (6 months ago)
- Anet say that Precursor and legendary probably won’t be ready for 2013, and will probably be in 2014. (couple months ago)
- Anet say that from the 21st Janurary, there will be 4 Living Story update, and then a big feature update. (10 dec.)

One can speculate and say that Legendary will probably come at the end of March 2014, but its only speculation.

I’m still waiting for my Legendary armor. I hope they make a pony armor to go with my pony bow!

long as i got something that is not shooting unicorns or looking like an awkward disco ball ill likely build a legendary weapon. That raven staff is interesting in the least (why would i play bifrost on a necro?) and will do a wonderfull addition to darker, shadyer character who just cant stand the pinkish that are our current legendary list. Look i can respect a guy who got predator frostfang or twilight but how in hell did they ever tought making a bow that shoot unicorns was actualy gunna fit as a shortbow skin for those more serious player, just show what they think of thieve and ranger. Bring back in the stormbow as a longbow i wanna see my thunder arrow striking those guys head!

Regardless of how you feel about rainbow-themed weapons, it really doesn’t affect you as no one is forcing you to get them.

I do agree in the sense that there should be other versions though. I would find it frustrating if, for example, I weren’t a fan of rainbows, and my only option for a legendary staff was the Bifrost (which IS the only option for a legendary staff, currently). So I can see your point from that perspective, but no need to hate on the rainbows/pink stuff ;-)

Also, it was leaked a couple weeks back on the possibility of some new legendary staff with a Raven theme. Video below.

coulda swore they said we where geting them this year i belive the info i was reading was all about stuff they had planed for 2013 i cant remeber the exact wording but they mentioned new legendery skins and stuff words to that efect witch got me excited coz i was hopeing legendery armour
thinking what else could they posibly make legendery other than weapons and armour jewelery hell no it wouldent show
back item again no this slot skin seems reserved for seasonal liveing story skins
firned mentioned ascended jewel crafting was gona allow us to craft legendery gems for our upgrade slot haveing problems beliveing this
but anyway sure dosent like like they managed to meet there deadline i got my fingers crossed for legendery armour in 2014

on a side note how awsome would it be to have a set of legendery armour similar to how a legendery works now with the ablity to change stats outa combat
some would argue its too O.P
