Guild Wars 2

OK i started to play on gw2 when it first released. Some things went on in my life t that has prevented me from playing until now. All I can recall from before was exploring the map. I never figured out where the dungeons were or how to get in them. Is there a thread explaining all this? What level do I have to be to get in any or all dungeons?

First dungeon is at level 30 – You will get a mail when you hit level 30 which will provide you location where the entrance is. To enter the dungeon for the first time you have to go through the story mode (this is for all the dungeons in GW2 when you enter them first time). After you finish the story you can do exploreable mods, but I strongly recommend you doing it when you get to 80 ’cos it will be hard for you to find a group for it.

Anyway to enter the dungeon only thing you have to do is to have a full party and to be in the same region where the dungeon is.

Ive made it to 41 and never got anything about a dungeon. I have checked my mail. what if it had gotten deleted somehow? What do I do?

There should be little “dungeon icons” on your map. If you’re at level 40, I believe the only ones you should have access to are Ascalonian Catacombs and Cadaceus Manor. AC is in Ascalon, NE a ways from the Black Citadel, and CM is in Beetletun in SE Queensdale. The rest pop up when you reach the appropriate level.
