Apparently we have to spend one transmutation charge each time we transmute an item, even if we have already transmuted the same item before. I get that, it’s the same thing as transmutation stones. But why in the love of god do we have to pay for skins that used to be free? Examples are PvP skins and skins from achievements. Why are there even still skin items from achievements? Why can’t they just get unlocked once you get the achievement?

I like to support the company through gems, I payed quite a lot of money. It’s not only the fact that things that used to be free are now not free, it’s also the fact that we have to pay every single time we use them. And it’s something that I used to use very frequently. For all I know, in a month we may need trait charges to reset our trait lines.

Also, what’s up with the whole "right-click item, then left-click on “unlock skin” to unlock the skin of that item". Is there any player in the whole game that wouldn’t want to do that? Why couldn’t just the skins be unlocked the moment we acquired them?

On top of that, In PvP, I can’t for the love of god find the stats of the PvP version of my items. I get it that all the stats have been merged into amulets, but why can’t I just view the weapon strength of my sword so that I can compare it with the weapon strength of my staff? And no, the PvP Build thingy doesn’t show anything. Another thing, I noticed that the damage of my skills was way too low. Way lower than the damage of the PvE version (My gear’s not even rare). There was nothing like this mentioned in the patch notes. Other players started complaining in chat that their class got nurfed to the ground, when in fact, the damage was much lower for everyone. This just added up to the amount of confusion (No, not the condition) I received from this patch.

This is a minor problem but it’s driving me mad. Suppose I have 4 trait points spent in a trait line (25 with the old system). Why can’t I view the major traits available of that trait line once I click on a lesser trait slot?? In order to view them, I either have to invest all the points required, or select a new trait line and then re-select the old trait line. What’s up with that?

The wardrobe system is bugged. Sometimes it shows PvE-unlocked skins, sometimes it shows PvP-unlocked skins and sometimes it’s mixed up. And I’m also pretty sure that a lot of the skins of the items from my PvP locker did not get unlocked. This whole thing is messed up.

Another thing that I dislike, although not as much as all the other things mentioned, is that structure PvP is now affected by PvE. You have to pay gold to learn traits, you have to complete dungeons to gain rewards from PvP and you have to be over level 11 to use shoulder skins (Actually, you can’t use any type of armor if you are not already wearing it in PvE). So I heard you created a level 1 engineer to play in PvP, NOOPE.

And of course, with this new patch Anet had to remind us of the beta times. After they’ve been gone for a long long time, sudden crashes are now back.

I’ve been waiting for this patch full of excitement only to find out that the only nice things they’ve added is account-wide dyes and account-wide WvW experience.

hate how many trait points and gold spent on trait books i spent befor patch that are uncompensated.

otherwise, love the patch from a PvE perspective (can still dps…but some of the sigil changes make some other builds interesting…still need tested).

I agree with this…I bought most of the clothes and armor types for my characters including double and triple on town clothes.

I loved roleplaying on this game to the point where I was on it every other day at least an hour if not more. The skin idea I thought would make it so we could put skins on our items without the transmutation or a cost…clearly that is not intended and you want more money. This is becoming a gold funnel I feel which makes me rather depressed.

Also items becoming tonics is ridiculous. I did not mind it if it was certain things but a cherry blouse shirt should not be a tonic. An example, “That cherry blouse silk shirt looks so good on you. It is too bad you are not wearing any pants.”

or the cargo shorts being just shorts. The hats are also good examples but most hats do not remove your clothes cause they are armor skins.

I feel like this patch to most we thought was to clear up inventory space and make the items and bags more organized, but clearly it was just a way to force more money out of our hands.

I dunno, the system REALLY doesn’t seem focused on monetisation with the rate we’ll be getting these charges, which appears to be very often! I was personally surprised that Arenanet was making it so easy to transmute when you’d think that was a fairly staple source of income for them! Personally I really love this new update! Although I admit the reasons for town clothes needing to be changed from their original format still eludes me!

Such savings, very Ogden, wow!

Oh and I just noticed, if you don’t have a certain type of weapon in PvE, you have to buy one if you want to use that type in PvP. And once you buy it, you have to keep it in your inventory even if you are not using it in PvE, because you might wanna PvP with that type of weapon. I mean, whyyyyy?

I just cant understand all this . . . Yes I am happy with my lvl 80 character traits . My MAIN problem is i worked my kitten off to get my low lvl character to lvl 35 and after this trait reset thingy going on , I get 1 point to spend on my traits @ lvl 35 when I HAD 10 , 10 , 2 for my traits .
Thats not right in ANY sense . . .
to go from having 3 traits to 1 trait at lvl 35 REALLY SUX kitten !!!
To me this means that Any New players have to get to such a high of a lvl just to get any traits . . . . well I will stop there and not say more cause I just want to Cuss . . .
To me this is just WRONG !!! To have the add and subtract on the trait lines is good . To be able to reset your traits at any time without any cost is good . To Loose all the Traits you had . . . this is not good , this will cost you a lot of new players that started just before the new April patch. AND possibly a lot of older players will not make new characters ever . For Every 10 points in a trait line you had you should get 1 point in the new setup at the minimum . To loose so many traits for low lvl characters will cause a lot of new players to leave . I do not see myself ever playing any new builds ever . . . Period . I do not see my self ever spending any more money on this game if this is the way it will stay . . . Period . I Do Not See myself doing anything more with this game cause of the pore execution of the new trait setup .

I almost forgot, your traits are shared between PvP and PvE, meaning you have to change your traits whenever you go to and leave from PvP since you won’t be using the same traits in both of these.
