Ima not sure if this is the right place to post my thread , I have bought guild wars 2 ultimate edition yesterday I am not sure which EU server should I pick , since Ping is really a big deal for me also I am really interested in WvW so which EU server is the most popular with it ?

The WvW subforum may be a better place to post a which server question if you’re looking to do WvW. I’d offer a suggestion, but I’m on a NA server so I don’t have any idea of which EU servers are good.

And EpicYogurt, just because you don’t care, doesn’t mean that others don’t so don’t speak for everyone.

I care. Well you can check wvw leaderboards here and select a server you like by that, but it will be difficult to make a charr on those servers since they are allways full. Rest is blended in megaserver.

How about the servers are all of them located in Germany ? Or is there a server closer to where I live ?

I know there is french and german server not sure how many are there. As i said now with megaserver we are mixed and matched and rest of the servers are just….european.

Desolation is the use to be top dog in WvW in EU, not sure now as I’ve not played WvW in awhile. The server I’m on, Gandara, is about 6th or 7th last time I looked.

The EU servers are all in Germany. As to which ones were dedicated to which major non-English language, here’s the list.

It also depends what style you are looking for. In high tier WvW servers, you have more group fights (zerg/blobs) but less roaming. In low tier, it’s the opposite. And as mentioned earlier, it is harder to find people off hours in some low-tiers server.
