Guild Wars 2

Anyone else noticed the Commando profession wallpaper in the media section? Ist that a remnant from old beta concepts, or was that an intended profession? There is a wallpaper for every profession in the game and an additional one for a class that’s not in the game (yet?).

It looks very interesting and it’s a shame there is a wallpaper for it, but the profession isn’t even in the game. What’s the deal with “The Commando”?

This. The commando is also too modern to be in GW2 seriously.

Aww, that’s a shame. Well, there already are rifles, mortars, air strikes, rocket launchers (Charrzooka), flamethrowers and grenades in the game, so I don’t see a reason why it is too modern for GW2.

i think the name ‘commando’ is out of gw2’s diction. the word is….anachronistic is not the right word, but the closest i can get to it(engineers and charzooka would be as well, but they are in game).

the commando would probably be a mix of engineer, ranger and warrior.

here’s hoping a 3rd soldier class is coming in a future xpac(tengu samurai/dragoon???)
