Dear Dev’s
I would like to ask you to add new rare equiptment into the game.
At first Legendary was my goal, but now that it’s made so easy (and 70% of it can be bought without any effort) i do not wish to own one anymore.
The same applies to the rare weapons crafted with lodestones. now that the lodestones are easely obtainable they will become common very soon.
I’m thinking of something like this:
“Epic” gear, Same stats as exotic, red name
Crafting recepie
5000 of ea dungeon token
2500 Fractal tokens
250 Claws of jormag (reward for killing jormag, account bound)
250 Shatterd Crystals (reward for killing shatterer, account bound)
250 Tequatl fangs (reward for killing tequatl, account bound)
1 token of heroism (100% completion of the Hero achiefment)
1 token of the skilled (100% completion of the Weapon master achiefment)
1 token of the Slayer (100% completion of the Slayer achiefment)
1 Base weapon for the stats that you want your weapon to have (1,5 million karma)
Will this be a grind? Yes
Will many people have it? No
Will some people complain and feel entittled? Yes
Will this give anyone an advantage? No
Will some internet girls want to be with you becouse of it? Maybe, interweb gurlz be crazy yo
Feedback will be appreciated, Trolls will be ignored
The requirements are far too low. AN can do better. My opinion is: multiply by maybe three and we’re good.
Also.. everything should be character bound on aquire ofc. Because its fun.
And dungeons tokens shoukld be only from one (hardest) explorable path it will be far more hard and challenging then.
Also… this is not grind. There is no grind in GW2. I saw this statement in numerous movies on yt and develper interviews.

Saying legendary is easy and asking to be harder doesn’t seem to be the common consense on the forums :P
They need less mindless grinds and more skill checks. Then things can be truly rare.

there’s enough people in this game that like long term goals to justify something like this
As long as the equipment won’t have better stats, i see no harm.
Will acquiring this new gear help me overcome my crushing inferiority complex and deep-seated need for acceptance?
You should also add a RNG element to it.

Correction. This would be the Claws of the Claw of Jormag. You don’t kill Jormag, Jormag isn’t in the game.

The final step for attaining this new armor should be crafting it in the mystic forge using items purchased/crafted with the various currencies/materials stated above. Those items should have a chance to fail in making the item, and instead reward you with a stack of butter.
This would also make the game more fun and keep it in line with the current design philosophy that has been envisioned for it.
