Just checking if everyone agrees with the intent of this.

I understand it’s to get people to play sPVP every day, you only need to do 3 matches really to complete the daily.

It’s a good idea to get everyone doing sPVP but shouldn’t there be a bit more to it?

Well there is the Monthly sPvP stuff to do as well, but not sure how many people will do it seeing as you have to win monthly tournaments.

Or did you mean better loot? I was expecting an account-bound Jug of Glory, or something of the like.

On a side note, what does “Top Daily Stat” actually mean. It was the only thing left I needed when I was doing the sPvP daily. I won a 2nd match, got the daily done, but had nfi how I completed it.

I don’t play games in a compatitive way, i play them as a hobby. Too bad that this game, which i thoroughly enjoy as a pve char, makes me miss out on some achievements, because i dont do pvp.

I’m confused. Why do you hate on this new pvp daily so much? Because you won’t be able to get some achievement points? Last time I checked, achievement points weren’t used for anything at all.

I’m just really confused as to why this bothers you so much…Of course the game has to have some PvP achievements, for those people who play PvP. Why is this something to lament?

There’s a PvE Daily and Monthly. I see no reason why PvP players should be excluded.

I for one was happy to see some additions to the PvP side of things.

I don’t do any sPvP, only WvW, but I might actually bother to do it now that they’ve added in the dailies.

It was a great idea. I just have nfi what “Top Daily Stat” actually means.

To daily stat means winning a match and being “Most players killed” or “Most points captured” etc etc

The daily sPVP is very easy to complete. Just gotta participate in 3 easy hotjoin matches really, the rest takes care of itself.

I could forsee a problem with people that

a) Don’t know what the top stat means, needs better wording.
b) Are bad at / dislike / have nfi how to do sPvP, having trouble getting the top stat. They could be there all day.

I must’ve only got top stat via capping the points, instead of running around fighting on roads.

Because it seems more and more the case that even people who don’t choose to play their game in a competitive way feel entitled to every possible achievement in the game.

I don’t do sPvP either and I think it’s perfectly normal that it means I don’t get every possible achievement. But I’ve noticed so many players think different.

Dude if you hate PVP don’t do it. No one is forcing you.

The achievement points and PVP daily are there for those who do their 3 matches and get their points.

For PvE achievement kittens, nothing has changed. You will still get the same amount of points you were getting before. These new PvP daily/monthly achievements are in addition to the already existing ones.
