It is possible to get a skin for a hat? I play a human engineer and I would love to see a skin for a hat without the lobes.

I am not even sure what the name for this lobes are so I marked it red.

This part is so you wouldn’t notice that your hair disappeared. And no, it’s not possible to get only the hat part of this skin (or just a part of any other skin piece, for that matter). You’d need a separate skin for that – maybe Anet will someday make one, but i wouldn’t count on it.

You can go to your bank, and open the bank Wardrobe and preview every Medium headpiece in the game. You might find something you like, and can then purchase it or obtain it another way in-game.

Already did it many times. I wear the PvP Mist Walker Helm but this is not really what I am looking for.

Well they do have some headpieces (much smaller though than a hat) that don’t remove your hair, so here’s hoping.

Hats which does not remove the hair are beyond the skills of game developers. Hopefully soon.
