Anet has an old habit of putting a price reduction on Black Lion Keys a day or two before the release of new weapon skins that are claimed through the Black Lion trader.

With that in mind, as well as knowing that tomorrow is April fools day. It seems likely we will be seeing some, jokes of weapons skins being released.

Yes they were, but never implemented into the game.
If any time of year would be apt for releasing into the shop, I would think April 1st would be it.

I sure hope there are some NON-trenchcoat type armors for the medium armor classes. Would love to see some skirts and pants options added for the medium armor folks.

While that is a valid complaint, is shiro’s armor a trenchcoat on a male? It’s not on a female.

Lucky guy, I grabbed 25 keys from the gem store and only got 6 scraps.
A hard lesson learned…don’t buy keys, it’s cheaper off the TP.

I’ve been playing since beta and can count all the exotics I got as drops on one hand, I think it’s about time I got something.

I’m looking forward to the Glowing Crimson Mask, if it ever gets added and wasn’t shelved.

Regarding gimmick weapon skins, I will not be picking up any goofy/silly weapon skins if they release more of them. I don’t like them for many reasons for my own use, but I don’t really care if others do (not that immersion breaking for me and to each their own style).

About ‘serious’ special skins they’ve released, I would have gotten the tormented short bow if it was just a smaller version of the longbow. Same with the Jade short bow if it had been a smaller version of the Jade longbow. Special short bow skins started off being smaller versions of the longbows, which was great as the longbows looked awesome! Then they switched to keeping longbows looking awesome and made really uninspired, uncreative, glitchy, clippy, funky generic versions of the short bow versions that look nothing like the longbow versions. So many of these skins they release I would gladly purchase if the SB was the same as the LB only smaller. Won’t be picking up any skins until they go back to that, or start making decent SB variations instead them looking like something that was thrown together last minute with discarded effects from other weapons.

Skirts! Yes thank you! Perhaps more female leather pants. Tired of all the boy clothes, or bizarre frilly junk.

Keys have never give a good drop. Strange since scraps are considered a common drop
Though there is no other way to get scraps. … Is there?

I actually got a BLC key as a DROP! the other day and I was stunned. I didn’t think that they dropped at all anymore. Opened a chest to the standard booster garbage.
I really want the Aetherized warhorn(0 on the TP) but I am not going to gamble $100 on keys to get it. When you can’t get the item ingame and you have to gamble 100s of dollars for tickets it seems that there is something wrong with ticket and scraps drop rates lol.
