It was almost 3 months ago, Dave Mark couldn’t stand to wait any longer in order to show us his work.

Another thing to keep in mind is that AI work takes quite a bit of time.

And to be fair he didn’t actually say anything at all about Guild Wars 2 in his post (even though it is very likely that he is referring to something in GW2).

You should be ashamed attacking people for their opinions on something. Just because they don’t feel the same as you do about something. Discussions OFTEN need points and counterpoints to be a discussion. This is not the “Sit around and agree with everything everyone else says” forum.All people including you are allowed to your opinions on the matter and really you should be receptive to what others say sometimes. Or at least respect their right to not agree with you. I mean seriously.. there is no reason to attack someone else on a personal level at all. Its not productive or conducive to a healthy atmosphere. People of all opinions should be listened to and taken stock of. Not just those that share your personal opinions. We all would do well to do a little more of this, myself included.

Because there’s no courtesy for other people in a lot of these sentiments which begin with “Anet is the devil” . . . not literally those words, but the sentiment? On either side there’s this charged concept of everyone being unreasonable. Everyone. It is the Internet, but there’s reason enough to be found even if you need to dig through a layer of sarcasm or snark.

It’s this . . . concept which bugs me. “I don’t need to try to do better with my posts because nyeh.” Yes, yes you really do. You really should try to be pleasant, reasonable, practice a bit of empathy.

Primarily because if you don’t, then nobody’s going to care about your message enough to actually pay attention to it. Calling people feckless, pestilent, moronic, [redacted], and [redacted] doesn’t give the argument any weight, it just makes you look like a kittykitty head.

I believe he’s done some work for Silverwastes encounters, but honestly they’re not really challenging. Sure it’s more than other parts of the game, but it means other content are too faceroll to be based of.

He could have just been talking about a new interface for the GMs for all we know.
