New tiers of dye?

Hello! I’ve been looking at the selection of dyes in the official wikia, and noticed that very, very vibrant and flashy colours (see picture) are missing.

So, what about a new tier of them? Exotic, ascended or legendary dyes perhaps?

They’d be obtained by doing end-game content, yielding an “Unknown Dye” and would make sure you get a rare+ tier dye. Of course these would be very rare, or could be made in the Mystic Toilet with more expensive ingredients.

The reason I’m asking for these dyes if because I wanted to make a flashy outfit, but just couldn’t find any dye that would be considered… flashy.

Midnight Fire is actually listed as the darkest “black” you can get, but it does have a reddish tint on some armors.

As far as the others, there are over 400 dyes in this game. Many of them are ultra vibrant. I really don’t think we need another “tier” so to speak, but watch the BLT. They offer “new” dyes every so often that aren’t in the game yet or are limited availability items. Good luck in your hunt, but I think we have enough tiers to get…dyes shouldn’t be one of them.

Does it look like “black” by any means? Its far from black, and in southsun its looking more like a metallic color than a black or anything close to black. Midnight Fire remains the same. White is actually white.. (Ive used celestial). So when we will finally get black dyes?

Shader settings matter. Highest setting has reflections. To test dyes, choose the 2nd option. Abyss looks pretty black to me.

I know but white and midnight fire remains the same..So like any other colors except “black” ones. Celestial has some reflections but its stays white, while abyss changes the color completely. Im not sure how midnight ice would look, i don’t have one to test.

I am confused as to what you are showing me in those screen shots
or even what we are debating. Abyss looks really black to me. Mightnight fire is close but there is a redish tint in some cases.

I honestly don’t understand why anyone would want even darker dyes than already available. You lose all the details on the armor ending up looking like a flat blob of nothingness. No one would appreciate your “effort”.

I’m sorry, I don’t agree… Look at the dyes on the wikia…

Look at “vibrant” colours. Do any look vibrant and flashy like the picture I put in the OP?

The color swatches shown on the wiki do not accurately reflect the dyes as they appear in game.

Although I like the idea of having more dyes, even some of “Exotic” rarity looking amazingly cool. I believe the ones from Flame and Frost are really flashy, what colors are you looking for?
