I bought the game yesterday and decided to spring for the Deluxe version since it was half off. I started in one world and was wondering, if I swap worlds, will my mail be the same in the other world to claim the items sent to me? I am in Jade Quarry atm and if i wanted to change to Blackgate for instance, would I have access to those items in the mail on that server?

Yes you would. You will have access to them wherever.

As long as you don’t take them out of the mail you would.

Your bank is also account bound, so you can take those out and put those into your bank.

Awesome, thank you for a quick response. Any ideas of a good first character class?

I started with a Guardian and I enjoyed it. I’m now working on finishing up a Warrior and I can say I enjoyed both of those. Guardian is pretty easy to learn and so is Warrior.

Welcome!! I hope you enjoy it!

For first timers, I think either Warrior or Guardian are a good start

Welcome~ c:

I’d say start with Guardian since they’re the easiest to survive with and that’d make it a little easier learning the basic game mechanics. However, my favorite classes are Mesmer and Necromancer if you’d like to try something a bit more challenging.

There’s no point in switching servers now unless its for WvW. The Megaserver system will render changing worlds for PvE obsolete (unless you want to RP).

Guardian is a good beginner class, but beware of its low health pool. Until you reach the end game and learn how to handle your character in the best way, you will probably want to start with some kind of Vitality gear.

Low HP is mostly vulnerability to “Conditions”, and you get more ways to remove them over time so that such gear becomes unneccessary.

I started with Guardian and found it a good way to learn the ropes. I then moved on to other classes but Guardian seemed to be great for starting and survivability while learning the mechanics. My personal opinion, after learning things Mesmer is a lot of fun. A higher learning curve and a bit squishy at first but their skills are very useful in all aspects of the game due to their some of their skills (especially Temporal Curtain, Portal, Time Warp, and Mass Invisibility in many dungeons) . You see less of them but they are almost always a welcome addition to most parties, especially when the party already has a Guardian and Warrior.
