Guild Wars 2

Looking for a response from Anet (though I probably will not get one) or some decent discussion here. I would really like to see some new weapons open up for the different professions to use, I think this would have the potential to mix up some builds and give more fun options to the classes that need them.

Here is some stuff that I would really like to see:

- Rifle for thieves: Ever since their sb range was gutted they have lacked a true long range weapon. Rifle would fit them thematically by fitting the sneaky peaky sniper niche that thieves could pick up.

- Great Sword/Battleaxe for necromancers: Make it a power weapon with cleave so we don’t have to rely on just dagger to be viable dps wise among the other classes.

- Warrior Staff: I hate warriors personally, but I can’t help but think that a staff would be pretty cool for them. Not in the magically way, but in the Rafiki “I have a staff and ima kick your kitten with it” way.

What do you all want to be added to the game as far as weapons and whatnot go? Anet, you probably wont answer, but are there any plans for opening up new weapon options to the professions?

I don’t want to offend anyone but please understand this.They won’t implement anything new soon nor later maybe very further.Now they are happy with this fragile ’’balance’’ and with the hope of giving us something in living story what pleases everyone or at least half of the playerbase.

Longbow on guardian should be good but beside Living Content and polishing actual glitches and some very minor fixes we won’t see anything good not now and not in the near future.

Accept it or check the forums for something new or wait for a new game like I do.

I’d love a longbow/shortbow on a mesmer. Ora a totally new weapon, like a whip.

Only weapon I want to see on a mesmer is dagger if not double daggers. I can’t imagine any of the other weapons being “magical”, but then again they managed to turn a bow into ice bow for ele so ya never know

I feel like fans would be cool. Especially since the ele in the wallpaper has a fan :P
