I felt that right as soon as I saw Scarlet. He left a long time ago.

But yeah, these are lazy & boring. Like most of the stuff you don’t have to pay money for.

I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be an evolved version of the Zenith set. The two names are even synonyms.

The method of acquisition will likely be related in some way, through achievements and/or collections.

Can we have some more sets that cover more styles then “uhh shiny magic”? Tyria also got inhabitants that embrace technology and inhabitants that like more “natural” designs that arent drowned in effects…just sayin

May well be the case. From an aesthetic point of view, the arrangement of the crystals looks even more…chaotic than the Zenith skins. If that’s what they were going for, that’s all well and good — purple is typically the color of Chaos magic in GW. The sense of the weapon’s shape seems to have suffered greatly for it, though.

I like it, it’s shiny as I expect from a fantasy game, it has an energy theme, it’s different enough from Zenith (yes, it is – look closer) but still resembles it so can be used in a dual-themed weapon set, it’s purple and fits mesmers

Probably it will be somehow connected to the (buffed?) Shatterer, or to some new LS events with the Branded. But I won’t be surprised to see it as the future 20k+ AP rewards – makes even more sense with the Radiant and Hellfire chest skins in wardrobe.

Who knows, maybe these are the weapons in the achievement chests after you’ve gotten all the Zenith ones.

They’re crystal like the zenith weapons but they’re clearly not just recolors they’re definitely different models

Maybe these will be possible rewards with a shatterer revamp.

These weapon designs almost put Final Fantasy to shame.
