Hi just downloading the game right now 75% its taking an age lol….was just wondering what the gameplay is like for the thief and necromanceer from other players – i like the idea of being invisible…infiltration would be really cool but i also like the idea of the necro profession…dark mysterious also i like being the bad guy :P

….played another mmorpg where i played a stealth class and a ranged dps/heal class….recently i stopped playing when they introduced f2p….just noobs everywhere after that plus playing the same game with the same classes gets tedious – i like to mix it up every once in a while…

You can roll one of each and take it into the PvP lobby (the crossed sword icon) where you will be boosted to 80 and can play with all the traits, weapons, runes, sigils, etc. to get a feel on how your toon will play at max level. Practice on the dummies or jump into a hot join pvp match.

Swapping weapons makes a HUGE difference on how a profession plays

Just want to mention that the thief doesn’t play in stealth like, say, the rogue in WoW. Stealth is often used to initiate combat, then periodically in combat, and then, if needed, to exit combat. From that standpoint you might be put off by the inability to stealth around and pick your fights like you can with the rogue. Not saying the thief is bad because of this, just different. Best advice is to give the classes that speak to you a try. And, as mentioned, you can easily give max-level a try to get a full sense of what the class offers in terms of playstyle.
