Hey everyone, here are the Soaring Weapon skins that we all have seen in a datamine a few weeks ago. For effects they have a slow pulsating glow on the blue gem only but otherwise nothing too special.

The wings are fun, and suit at least three of my alts for various reasons. I’m glad Dulfy’s video included that higher pitched twinkle sound when you use Lean Techniques to go faster in the glide. It doesn’t include the nifty hearts scatter you can get by strafing or slaloming, though.

As to the weapons, I’m personally meh on them. They don’t look functional enough. Someone in Map asked “if you had to get one, which one would it be?” and I figured the shield as it looks like it could block stuff and has the most visible glow pulse of the lot (I don’t normally need glow pulses on my gear; this one adds to the weapon’s visual impact enough to be good imo). None of the edged items look at all dangerous. So I’ll keep my two tickets on hand for whatever the next set may be.

Overdesigned and too flashy as usual. Not wasting my gems on those.

The dagger, shortbow and torch look alright though, since they look like they could actually be useable

Also, wings are just so tacky and obnoxious ^^;

…Those are the very first BL skin weapons that i actually find plain ugly… boy… really got nothing nice to say about them at all. Just wow. Usually i can atleast comment something nice about a set, even if its not my personal style…but this time.. nope. No blade looks actually sharp, the blue\white\yellow\red\black clusterkitten of colours doesnt fit together at all and they completely look out of place quality wise aswell, especially if compared to the set that came before it, the timekeeper set. They look like my very first attempt of sculpting in z brush (that i do as a personal hobby, nothing big)…and trust me.. it was baaaaad like really baaaaad. They remind me from the early days of Second Life…. 1\10 would not recommend at all.

As for the wings. Pretty nice effect. Clearly not made for me.. but they got style regardless. Maybe next time something mechanical? Ya know.. a chopper rotorblade with an engine or something like that? Would be cool to have imo. Other then that 8\10 would use if i would be into stuff like this for sure.

Great idea. I would love to fly with a smoking chopper, or with a burning plane, or being carried by a space ship. Mechanical idea is awesome and full of imagination.
