Free Xp: Back in the day classes with pets could put their pets on aggressive and let their pets kill everything while they did nothing but rack up free xp.

Fast forward to today. Gw2 Engineer: Spec into self repairing turrets-find a good spawn location-cast all turrets-and turrets will kill everything while you do absolutely nothing but rack up free xp.

Training mobs: Back in the day you could train mobs into afk players and get them killed. Although mean, it was very funny to watch.

Fast forward to today: Gw2 you can train mobs into afk players and get them killed. For some reason I find it just as funny as it ever was.

Today some players found a bot in Queensdale. Some Mesmers ported it onto one of those balloon towers and because it auto "f"s constantly it took the balloon to DR. That was pretty funny.

Yeah, nothing funnier than griefing someone because they’re going to the bathroom; unless you’ve been watching them sit there for awhile exploiting to get XP for nothing. So, yeah, I’m hoping you’re only doing this to bots and afk xp farmers.

I sometimes feel bad when I see someone dead and I fight my way in there to res ‘em, only to find out the player is afk and the monsters just kill ’em again. When they’re bots it’s no biggie, but when they’re nowhere they could be harvesting anything I really hope they were just being too lazy to log off and not just running to the kitchen to make a sandwich.

I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.

I once rez’ed someone that was dead and carried on. I came back and rez’ed again then moved on. After the third time rez’ing them I finally realized that I was rez’ing them in the exact same spot. Turned out they were afk and dying to a patrolling mob.

PvE auto pilot. You just react to the situation on the screen at the time while putting no thought as to the why of it.

I wondered where that bott went. What a creative and awesome solution!

I remember the debate over the turrets awhile ago. The outcome of that was timers on the turrets.

I don’t have opinions. I only have facts I can’t adequately prove.

Pure win!

Thanks for sharing that… guildmates are still chuckling.

BG: 52 alts, 29 lvl 80’s. They all look good, so I am done with the game: Oct 2014
