Next Taimi's Notes and lore by ingame mail?
They don’t read like a letter to anyone but herself. People don’t necessarily publish their private diaries, Facebook etc notwithstanding.
I think they are a short story that is canon to LS but are not in-character available for anyone who doesn’t break into Taimi’s diary logs.
i am sure that will find out in 10 days what will have to follow from taimi research! i am curious why she mentioned caithe in the first part hehe. must go check out the egg lolz
The very last image of the cutscene at the end of Hearts and Minds is something glowy and magical happening to the egg. The LS3 trailer includes that shot, along with “only the beginning.” So yes, I think we’ll have egg stuff in our face once LS3 hits
I’m not sure in-game mails can hold that much text.
Besides, players asked for the Story Blogs to be brought back, and here is a case of ArenaNet listening, once again.
But in my opinion, they’re listening to the wrong cries!
We all welcome narrative and stories. But for the love of Balthazar, do this in-game! Wy do I have to track website, forums, reddit, tumblr, twitter, facebook and instagram?
Same thing happened with the stories about Scarlet.

Wrong cries for you, right cries for others.
Again, I’m not sure the technical limitations would allow them to send a mail that would hold that much text.
Maybe they’ll appear as notes in Rata Novus.

It is a no win situation. There were huge cries to put them in game last time and that’s prob why they stopped doing them. There have been since a small number of posts requesting their return.
Frankly I’m pas the point of caring either way. We’re so starved of story and associated content (thankfully coming to an end), I’ll take them mailing stories by pigeon direct to my house at this point…
I will say these are vastly better quality story blogs than the Scarlet/Marjory ones were

There might be some limitation to giving these stories in-game (like the writers can write the story but not enough people to produce the game content). They did announce the stories on the Launcher.
When did they put actual story on “forums, reddit, tumblr, twitter, facebook and instagram”? If you’re talking about devs giving general info, one of the Moderators should be informed whenever a dev posts outside the official forums and that info should be pointed-to in a forum post.
I mean that the information is generally scattered around. IN the previous wekes/months to HoT launch, the teaser images were posted on FB and IG, which I believe were linked, as well as Twitter. Not on the general website.
All the Scarlet and Marjorie story stubs was posted in the website, never in-game. Still can’t find it in the client.
Reddit is where Devs have started to post this stuff; MO comes here generally, but seems like the subReddit is their forum of preference.
Don’t limit lore to just ingame. Just make sure story is known and indicated well. Basically, well documented. a tiny library like page on the website for small stories to be published, with an ingame mail when this is updated with an entry might make it possibly much more indepth than 5 lines of dialogue because the window for it is to.
The only thing I would want is this being bundled on one story blog page than trying to filter out the BLTC PvP Community Contribution and other spam out.
Basically any filter system for the blog posts would definitely help. Especially as currently there might as well be none at all.
