I have made a thread before about customization and showing weapons in different poses on the character selection, but your backpieces aren’t even shown? They count as armor, why would they not?

I am kinda a noob, and I just got the gas tank backpiece skin for my Charr Engineer, and it looks really cool, but when I logged out to change characters I was disappointed it was not shown. I hoped to have every character decked out with awesome armor and a backpiece to match (sylvari ele with TA armor and the yellow flower, Necro wearing Arah with Karka backpiece) and while it is minor, it would still be cool if you could see those things at the main menu, as at times they add or even make the outfit.

I would like to see backpieces (and possibly even weapon) both at Character Selection
(+ Interactive background pleeeease),
AND at least the backpiece wen you /sit or do any emote.

Yes long missing this one. Also ich you pressing H your charakter is also shown without backpieces !! There ist an option to turn on / off for people who don’t want to see it.

So if people turn them on please make them happen to see at login screen und charakter display sektion !!

There’s quite a few visual bugs in menus with back pieces. Just seems like it was never important enough to work out the kinks. Currently most versions of the tempered spinal blades can’t be viewed in any menu.

You can do /sit or an emote and when you see them disappear go remove and re-equip them to see them while doing an emote

I’m all for this idea, been thinking about it myself.
