No Giver's armor buff? Boon dur. nerf? What?

As I was warning others of, the new patch brought with it a colossal loss of boon and condition duration. Arena, you’ve been playing up the “we’re buffing gear! we’re buffing stats!” but that wasn’t explicitly the truth if you completely exclude these two fundamental directions.

Was it because you wanted to nerf duration modifiers? If so, why do so many runes vary wildly in how lengthy they make different conditions?

Was 10+ might too much with about 60% uptime? (6% damage increase counting for full combat)

Moreover, it would appear with this “gear upgrade” Giver’s was laid to the wayside without the most important feature of it so much as being touched. In fact, beforehand it was already a poor investment: compared to other secondary parameters given in comparison to the trait tree, the 17% (56% of the trait bonus), from all possible gear, isn’t even close to the near-double value of other secondary stats on gear likewise compared to the traitline. I don’t think even so much as giving it the same treatment as everything else (+30%, roughly 6%, which could be put onto the primary armor pieces,) isn’t unfair, but it needs a lot of help and even moreso in the post-patch climate.

Indeed, this gear was not only overbalanced but now is even less useful under the current circumstances, ironically. It’s practically a liability with just trying to get back to -baseline- what we had prior to this patch.

I’d like to see us gain back our boon duration, but if we’re getting it lost as a blanket nerf the least you can do is give us giver’s gear that has a purpose rather than just be used for leveling crafting.

On the topic of just recovering boon duration, please rebalance runes to coincide with the gear change, to give the builds who want it it via runes – in the proper amounts to be comparable pre-patch?
