Seems kind of lame that you can’t level your masteries and do Halloween stuff at the same time.

I haven’t logged in yet, and can’t until after work, but have you done the HoT story that unlocks masteries yet? In the beta you had to do the story first. Which btw, doesn’t give you the unlock if you die and exit to verdant brink before completing.

Yeah, looks like there’s no EXP given while in the laby for mastery. Meh….

Its the same point as the xp reduce at dungeons. anet dont want that we rush our masteries in minutes to the end

I can understand why though, otherwise you could breeze right through the masteries with the amount of mobs you’re slaying in there
