The daily reward chest of exotic equipment does not include a revenant option. I think this could be an oversight. While adding this would make it available to customers without HoT, because the loot table is restricted to the base game’s exotics just customised to heavy armour and the particular weapon set there wouldn’t be anything players couldnt get from other chests.

I knoooow. I had 9 of those saved up, and ended up trying to get warrior/guardian gear.

Never have I gotten so many rifles…

You realize that it’s just random exotics, right? You’re not likely to actually get anything you want to use anyway, so why should it matter?

I’m confused though. Is there really a difference between the chests aside from armor weights?

The chests also drop weapons that are profession-appropriate. It would have been useful for getting free Revenant gear, if the option had been available.

I didn’t get anything useful from it, but I did get 5 new exotic skins. :P

If I needed a particular weapon type then I select the class that carries it. The unfortunate thing is that you don’t get to pick the stats and it could also be lower than level 80.

I did try that, though. Note the rifle comment above. :P

I think I managed to come away with a questionable helm and glove for my Rev, and two axes.
They can only off-hand axe. :P

In spite of that, I was more amused than frustrated, and eventually just dropped gold on the market to get a full set of gear. /shrug
