I just participated in my first guild bounty with my guild, and all I received was normal event completion (a reward of about 1 silver, with no commendations or anything special)

Is this a bug?

…or is there something I should have done prior to participating in the bounty hunt in order to get credit (commendations)?

Any insight is greatly appreciated… it seems that I was not the only one in my guild to not receive any credit.

Guild Bounty provides Guild Merits and Guild Commendations. (Once per week):

For the Guild to get Merit the Bounty must be successful. For the members to get Commendation they must defeat ONE bounty.

All other situations are like any regular Dynamic events!

Are you on the same server as the rest of your guild, or are you on a different server and guested to do the Bounty with them? Not sure that it would make a difference, but could be a possibility.

Were you online and repping when they started the Mission? Or did you log on after they’d triggered the mission?

What you are describing sounds like what you’d expect to see if you weren’t a member of the guild (i.e. normal DE rewards, but not Guild Bounty rewards). That’s why I asked the above questions.

As this was my first bounty, it was surely the only one I have done this week.

I killed Tricksy Trekksa in Blazeridge Steppes
…and like I said earlier I just got one silver. (Gold Medal for completing the event)

I was there while she was at full hp…. but she was already hostile when I got there, because a Guild member initiated the fight and was just tanking until the rest of us arrived.

We are all indeed on the same server…. no guesting…. no overflow… no funny business.

Like Courin said, were you representing the guild?

Sounds like you did everything right to me. You said she was already hostile when you got there. Were you online when the Mission got activated? Maybe you don’t get credit if you log in AFTER they’ve started the mission, even if you do enough to get the DE reward?

I was indeed representing…. but you might be on to something with the online while activating thing….

It was already active when I logged on.

Bounty was active before I logged on, I Logged in, I went to the area the bounty was in, someone found target, we all met up, and we all killed him.
