“Rares and Exotics should be much more likely to drop and every champion should be guaranteed to drop loot.”

Killed a bunch of Champions since the patch was released and they either drop nothing at all (most of the time) or just pure crap.
Anyone else having the same luck as me?

Same luck… Nothing worthwhile – Apart from Porus Bones ….

Umm i got a huge chest from the bloodtide coast and it was filled…… with complete garbage.

Hmm, not really surprising. Maybe you can put those bones in the mystic forge and get a precursor out of it. lmao

I’ve been wondering the same thing, my guild mates aswell. Lots of killing and no drops.

Yeah I just got rubbish, if anything, quite often it was nothing.

They never said the loot was going to be worth anything :p

Question is, do you guys get actual drop loot?

Ive said this in 10 other threads and ill say it again making it 11.

It was a bluff. Forum wide no ones drop increased.

I myself have killed several champions witha full mf set and got NOTHING. So to those of you picking up porous bones. Be happy.

Maybe not specifically but patch notes say otherwise.

The drop rarity of Rare and Exotic weapons from certain places in the world (champions, veterans, and players in WvW) has been increased. Rares and Exotics should be much more likely to drop and every champion should be guaranteed to drop loot. This was to ensure that world loot drops were not a significantly worse way of acquiring rare and exotic items than crafting and running dungeons.

Still doesn’t shock me that they still drop nothing or garbage. I didn’t believe Anet when they said it the first time. After killing more veterans than I could count out there this afternoon I gave up, got some shells and some greens and that was it.

On a sidenote:
I havent seen a single exotic drop (other than from map completion or story) in the whole time i was playing this game.
I have two lvl 80s and one lvl 50 btw

15 champions = 3 white items.

I would make more money, if I would harvest wood in Queensdale.

Pretty sure it’s a typo. What they meant to say was every “legendary” (purple, not gold) should (probably) drop stuff now.

Of course, I’m not surprised if I’m wrong, haha.

Oh, its just another bug.. Really truly, they didn’t mean it…snicker. Remember no monthly fee, it doesn’t matter what they do. They already have the money. If they already made x amount of profit, the game could shut down tomorrow and it wouldn’t matter. Their investors would be happy.

I played a mix yesterday and this prob wont make anyone happy.

Zones, champions, vets…..Mostly NO drops AT ALL.

2 “Levels” SERIOUSLY 2 Levels only of FoTM and I got 4 rares and 2 exotics in about an hour.

killed two champs in the new area last night

got a rare and a green from them, works for me.

I can confirm champions don’t have a guaranteed chance to drop loot. Killed a few champions since the patch and several times they didn’t even dropped a grey trophy item.

Same for me, Champions are definitely not guaranteed to drop loot as the patch notes suggest.

Today we got a whole party up to the edn of the new jumping puzzle, made our way to the champion wind rider…

Not a blue dagger, or a green dagger… certainly not a rare dagger – jsut a white, trash dagger. Not even any coins, and no mini event, just. XP and a white level 79 dagger

I havent received a drop from a champion yet. They probably added it to the patch notes to tempt people to buy the game, who were on the fence after reading how bad things are on the forums.

Sounds about right, the trash mobs are dropping nothing but trophies for me over the last 2 days since the patch. At least now I know that if I spend 10+ minutes on a champ I can get a shinny new dagger.

Guarantees are not affected by RNG. “Should be” is a sign of “we didn’t test this.”

champions drop loot? when did this happen? not in the entire time ive been playing have I ever seen loot from a champion.

They are afraid of bots SO much that they simply deny any use of actually playing the game.

I wish they played their own game once in a blue moon…. to my disbelief it’s getting obvious they don’t see a reason to have decent loot for champions. They can probably check their stats – no one ever kills champions that are not in the way of anything useful. (sad i have to call champions useless)
