I used my bday booster, mf booster and an omnom bar while I was farming. for a while I was getting 1-2s per champ just from looting(not opening the bags/box) so the game lags a bit and now I don’t get 1-2s per champ or monster I get items from the loot but no 1-2s not even a bit of copper wtf??? I tried re-logging and stuff and it doesn’t work.

It’s possible that you have ran into Diminishing Returns, which seems to happen if you farm an entire zone for more than 3 hours.

Doing other stuff, other zones for a while should solve this, if this is indeed Diminishing Returns.

You know I have played this game since launch and it’s very, very, very rare that I ever get coin drops. It makes me wonder if some people are hit like this like some of us used to be for WvW bonus resource rewards etc.

Money doesn’t drop from regular mobs.

I’ve gotten coin drops from regular mobs — although it is usually measured in small numbers of copper.

I, too, get coin from regular mobs. But, it hasn’t ever been more than coppers, so far. To be fair, though, I don’t spend a huge amount of time in high level maps, either.

OT: DR does affect Loot from Enemies, so that is probably what you have encountered. When I encounter it, which isn’t often, I just change characters.

From my understanding playing on an alt is also a way to get around DR.

Event and Champion Loot

With the changes we’re making that remove some of the systems that take gold out of the economy, we need to make sure the economy remains balanced in terms of gold input as well. We’ll be reducing the amount of raw gold that comes out of champion loot bags and events in an effort to keep the economy balanced and spread out player activity a bit.
