Guild Wars 2

So I realized that we never got a hat this year for Halloween. As a person who has played Guild Wars since the beginning of GW1 I am very sad to see the lack of a hat this year.

Yeah. Well. There’s a 3000 to 4000 gold shoulder piece you can get though.

There hasn’t been a hat for Halloween at all, unless there was one the first year. I missed that one.

EDIT: As I said, I missed year 1, but I did forget about the mask of the night from year 2. My apologies.

There was the witch’s ’hat the first year and a mask of the night skin the second year from doing Mad King Says.

A more specific answer is, imo, they realized the cash value of all the hats and mini pets they handed out so freely in Guild Wars 1. They are willing to give us content for free but cosmetics and other items of that nature that they can sell will be few and far between or at best require an ingame purchase of some sort. So, I wasn’t surprised that we didn’t get a hat this year.
