Guild Wars 2

All I want is to ‘complete’ my character, basically by getting all the vistas, waypoints etc.

But I am forced into these stupid WvWvW maps where no matter how carefully I try to pick off enemy defenders, as soon as I engage one, 4 lvl 80 veterans come to completely wipe me out over and over again.

Any advice on what the hell I can do to even have a hope out there, is much appreciated, since I am considering quitting for good over this.

One of the other issues is that each time I die I have no choice but to spawn at my original location since all the other waypoints are continuously contested.

Can you please explain how?

I know nothing about WvWvW.

Two words: SERVER TRANSFER. This will easily solve your wvw exploration issues. Do it while it’s still 1 free transfer per day

So all I can do is keep reservering so I can explore the areas I couldnt do from my original start positions?

Look at your wvw matchups to see who your two opponents are. switch to each server in turn (using free transfers each day). Presto! exploration done

To all those who surgest server tranfers Please note you WILL be stuck on the new server for a WEEK now thanks to pvp moaners. Not a day like other people are saying

I think Sanctum of Rall is a good faceroll server this week. Head there for easy caps.

well it’s not like getting stuck on a server is a big deal. you can still talk to guildies. i usually pug and tbh i don’t even notice a difference between servers.

i had the problem too but i was just patient till my server was dominating wvw then i got em all in pry 2 days

get all the ones from your side. wait a week. get all the ones from your side. wait a week. get all the ones from your side.

do that until you have everything. not that hard.

I’m on Sanctum of Rall server, we are winning about 95% of the map, if you need a place just shout out for people to go where ever the POI you need is, most people usually come within 5 mins, or you could follow the battles, which usually go to places we do not own yet. When you finish completion just hop on to your own server. (you have to complete all 3 maps +eternal battlegrounds)
