No idea where to ask about this.
You buy a GW1 account and get X amount of points to unlock it. I don’t know of another way.

Orochimarei , THE Necromancer
I believe the only way to obtain that skin is through the Hall of Monuments.

If you wish to purchase Guild Wars EotN and a full campaign, you can work toward unlocking it.
Good luck.
Hey and thanks for the fast reply, i am on the guild wars 1 website now and there is this “trial” can i get it through there ?
and tbh i have no idea how to get those points u are talking about? and when i got those “points” where do i buy the weapon skin ?
You need to buy Eye of the North, get a character to level 10 to access the content and then you must complete as much of the monuments at the eye of the north as possible.
Once you do that all you have to do is connect your GW1 account to your GW2 account using the GW2 site.

ah okay so there is a map/area called eye of the north i have to enter and then just complete like u say as much as possible until i get 10 points, and when i add the gw1 to gw2 i have the skin ? also, best/fastest race to go on in gw1 ?
Kid, seriously? Use google. There’s bajillion threads or guides on internet to check how obtain HoM points possible fastest way.
waw “kid” using this forum becouse there are some nice and kind ppl, but i see that dosen’t include you
There is only one race in Guild Wars. You will need to purchase one full Campaign, either Prophesies, Factions or Nightfall and the expansion, Eye of the North.
Then, you must complete enough content to earn 10 Hall of Monument points. You can read about how to do so in the GW Wiki. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide_to_earning_Hall_of_Monuments_rewards
Good luck.
Earning the 10 points required for the Fiery Dragon Sword is going to require you to play a substantial amount of GW1. I strongly advise you use the free trial first and figure out if the game is something you’re actually interested in playing, because if you don’t like it then you’re not going to enjoy playing through it to get the sword – and if you don’t enjoy it then the monetary investment for that one sword isn’t really worth it.
So yeah, definitely try the trial first. As others have pointed out you need to purchase at least one campaign (Prophecies, Factions, or Nightfall) and the expansion, Eye of the North. Nightfall tends to be the fastest/easiest GW game to solo if you’re just looking to buy one.
I recommend Nightfall for your main game. Leveling is pretty fast, and you get the Eye of the North access quest from your starting city, at level 10, whereas with Factions or Prophecies there’s a good deal of traveling involved.
Factions has the fastest leveling overall, though, if you want to play the game through.
Prophecies is what GW2 is based on, but it has the most complicated story and leveling process.

Eye of the North is the last expansion for GW1 and it is rather big.
I don’t remember if Eye of the North was a stand-alone expansion pack as the others are.
There is:
Guild Wars Profecies (Main game)
Guild Wars Factions (Expansion and works without main Game)
Guild Wars Nightfall (Expansion and works without main Game)
Guild Wars Eye of the North (Expansion and dunno it it works without main Game)
I would advice you to try trial and if you like the game you go buy them all.
When you have reached a place called Eye of the North in Eye of the North Expansion you can start to visit the Hall of Monuments. But you will need Tapestries wich you will find/get during the game play of Eye of the North Expansion. With these tapestries you can start to collect on stuff such as Minipets, Uniqe armors, Heroes Uniqe armors, defeated final bosses and more. With each trophie you have recorded in the Hall of monuments in GW1 you will get points (defferent amount depending on what trophies). To get these points to work for GW2 you have to link you GW1 and GW2 account with each other via your profile on this site here.
And you don’t have to worry, you can link your accounts even before you got any points becouse even if you play GW1 later you will still be able to continue to unlock stuff in the Hall of Monuments.
I hope this clearefied alot and that my English wasn’t to bad, I am to tired to get a spellcheck.
Guild Leader of Alpha Sgc [ASGC]
you have to have 1 gw campain (prophecies, factions or nightfall) + eye of the north expansion
at one point of the campain you will be able to travel to eye of the north expansion.
Then you will enter the outpost called eye of the north and enter a instance called hall of monuments, there you can set up your personal (characters) achievements or your account based achievements.
Each time you put a achivement you gain a hall of monument points.
At a certain number of points you will unlock titles and skins for gw2.
Achievements include:
-Elite armor sets
-Elite weapons
-Minipet collections
-In game gw1 titles (Consumable titles, finishing all missions in a campain with bonuses ect)
-Equiping your heroes with elite hero armor (avaiable in Nightfall)
-and many more.
The more campaings you own,the more titles you have available to achieve.
Example:
Finishing all missions with bonuses on all 3 campaings = 3 titles= 3 achievement points, you gain a extra 1 legendary title for doing all 3 of those which is a total of 4 points towards your HoM.
Now do that again but on Hard Mode and you will gain 4 more titles.
