Apologies if this is covered somewhere and I missed it when I searched.

In an attempt to acquire additional mastery points I had my level 20 asura work on his personal story. (My only other character is my level 80 human elementalist.)

I completed chapter 2 of the personal story and got the “Legacy Code” achievement, but wasn’t given the mastery point that goes with that achievement.

I thought perhaps it would only show on my level 80, but on that character, while I do still see the accomplishment on my Recently Completed column, I still have zero available mastery points. (I had spent down to zero before doing this story.)

So am I missing something? Do the story mastery points from my alt only become available when he finishes his full story, or when he hits 80? Am I bugged?

Once per account per story segment. Has been discussed and responded to by ANET, since forum search does not work you need to use another search engine with key words.

The storyline mastery points are a bit confusing.

You can get a mastery point from any story chapter, but you can only get 1 per ‘level’ per account: 1 for the level 10 story, 1 for level 20 and so on.

This is so that all the mastery points can be obtained on any character. A non-asura cannot do the Legacy Code achievement so if the mastery point was specific to that achievement everyone without an asuran character would have to create and level one just for that. And everyone who chose to play an asura would have to create and level all the other races.
