hello, so …why no raids for people who buy the core game?
i think this is unfair, even in wow if you dont have some expac, you still can do raids…

so my question is : will be raids for people who buy only the core game? because i dont want to buy HOT at this price….

Raids didn’t come with core Tyria. They are expansion content. Dungeons are core Tyria’s group content.

Could the players who only had vanilla WoW do the raids that that came with that game’s first expansion without buying the expansion?

Owning core game doesn’t mean much anymore. If you bought the core game in the past year you got scammed. HoT purchase includes core game, if you had core before HoT then time for an upgrade.

Raids were a big selling point for HoT.

Even if there was a core game raid, you would be kicked out of squads for no elite specialization.

are u a free 2 play player? You spend $50 once every 2-3 years, no monthly subscription fees, and your angry that you can’t do raids because….let me guess, you want to start working on the legendary armor….if you love this game enough, you would support them by buying the expansion, which occassionally is on discounted price.

This isn’t WoW, GW2 core game DID NOT have RAIDS, the HoT expansion DID. The expansion may not have been worth the $50 when it came out, but its definitely worth the price with all the content that has been released a year after….the only thing unfair here is you complaining about not buying HoT when you have played WoW which has monthly subscriptions..

The raid team has been seperately hired just to work on them and, on top of that, is a small group which only focuses on this. Never has work on raids meant progress on other content fell flat. Next raid will most likely be released next month. If it’s not next, it will be december. November is probably going to be it though.

i dont buy games to support the company who made that game, i buy games for my entertainment, and dont worry they have a lots of money…..and like i said ,for me it’s not worth it to pay that price for a small expac because i buy once the core game, whit that money you can buy 2 very good games on steam…

But many of them aren’t in HoT anymore. they are snowing in core Tyria, running around in a kind of Godmode, oneshottimg nearly everything, making leveling newbies a hard time and do jumping-puzzles with that lame gliding.

As a core-only player you are free to participate in every raid that was included in the game at Release, and introduced at any point between launch and the release of Heart of Thorns, just like every other MMO that has expansions.
