[TBT] The Black TowerS
Can we get Nomad’s armor on the BLTP to buy for those of us that don’t craft or do much of any PvE please. Thanks:-)
I’d especially second this for Sinister armor, too. Some people want Sinister armor, but can’t stand annoying braindead open world grinding, and would love to pay the people that like that stuff some gold in exchange of just being able to dungeon.
I don’t support this. I think it’s good to have to earn equipment through gameplay rather than being capable of spending real life money on gems, convert to cash, and buy off of the trading post.
What I do support is alternative methods of acquiring said equipment via gameplay.
I cannot vouch for the Nomad Stat Set.
But the Sinister you can acquire via the Black Lion. provided yes that you have a armor crafting discipline at at least 400.
You can purchase all of the sinister recipes on the Black Lion as well as the Sheets of Charged amberite.
you just need to have the crafter at 400 to assemble it all.
You can get the recipes for these stats dirt cheap on the TP, by the way. And crafting is will be a lot cheaper than buying it off the BLTC. You don’t need to grind to get these recipes at all.

The recipes for the inscriptions and insignias are account bound, not tradeable and acquired via geodes/bandit crests.

Yes, but those recipes don’t cost much geodes, and only need to be purchased once.

It still falls under the category of what OP complained about though.
I think OP wants the crafted equipment to not be account bound.

It’s not the cost to craft it. Its the fact it needs to be crafted. I’ve played GW2 for 2 years. I have 0 of my 3 accounts and 8 lvl 80s past 250 crafting. I extremely dislike the crafting in GW2. It’s horriably grindy. I mostly stick strickly to Tpvp and WvW unless i’m playing with my 9 year old daughter than I’ll do PvE. I would rather pay the company for its use in WvW than be forced to grind for it in PvE.
In actuality It wouldn’t have to be Nomad’s Armor. Any armor with T,V,H stats would work so that I can enjoy testing out new builds with it. Would be great if they added it to the WvW armor vendors.

Nomads is the only stat set that has all three of those stats, the two closest stat sets closest to it is Soldiers and Clerics, both of which can be bought from the WvW vendor.
There is already a way of acquiring these and putting them on the gem store would in my opinion be absurd. Let’s ask to put ascended armor and legendaries on the gem store too because I don’t want to spend the time farming the ingredients. Can we also buy pvp rank upgrades?
Yes to this. They made too many things account bound for no reason. The recipes should be but the results should not. “Other” MMOs knew better than to do this.
Crafting does not take long or much money to get to 400, in fact you could have already finished making the armor by now.

this website will minimize the “grind” for you.
however, its unlikely anet will implement your request. the game designers want you to be working towards things in the game. if you have nothing to work towards, you might play less. hence, many things that have been added post-launch have been account bound, because then you have to earn those things yourself and you have something more to do than just earn gold.
