Just scrolling through the Auctions for lvl 80 hammers and previewing them. They all look so plain, tiny and dull in my Char’s hands.

Also why dont we have any tower shields? All the shields in this game are small bucklers or little triangle things. I want an epic shield that looks heavy and takes a man to wield.

I had an image of my warrior in my mind. Now it’s shattered and I will forever look like an oaf with toys.

The new hammer you can get off champions that looks like the Archdiviner’s one looks pretty good. You can get a tower shield off the guild commendation merchant too. The vigil shield looks pretty bulky on Charr as well.

Fear not, ANet has heard our pleas and actually introduced nice hammers in this latest patch. Check out Genesis or Entropy. Best hammers in the game by far. Cause, you know, they actually look like hammers for this kind of setting.

Meanwhile, I find the Invader hammer or Magmaton adequate, for a “lower budget” situation. Certainly better than the competition.

Mjolnir has some nice effects, but in itself it doesn’t look that great. If i could transmute the lightning effects to some other skin, i might consider it, but i’m just not interested in a shapeless and ugly-looking piece of ice.

Entropy. Genesis. Magmaton. Corrupted Sledgehammer. Icebreaker. Orrian Smasher (this one’s a bit… different). Priory’s Hammer.

Not trying to have a “correcting” tone here, but I tried to list some you might like based on your complaint. I do agree the hammers should be more bulky and have bigger heads in general.

Icebreaker from the Hall of Monuments is what I’m currently using on my norn. Admittedly you have to have played a fair bit of Guild Wars 1 to get it.
