Non fractals way to get quiver skin?
So I’ve been easing back into GW2 after a nearly 5 month Hiatus (thanks to the influence of the Super Adventure Box and it’s awesome commercial =D), and have decided to dust off my lowbie Ranger.
After finding out there was a quiver in the game, I was ecstatic. Finally! There is one catch: I hate fractals. -_-’ Getting to level 10 and then the grinding for the drop would be total misery for me every second of the way. So I have to ask… is there a NON-fotm way to get the quiver skin? I don’t care about the stats, just the skin.
Unless they make the skin non-frac exclusive, or TP-able, you’ll have to play FotM like the rest of us.

There’s good news and bad news.
You have to do fractals but all you need is 1 vial of condensed mists essence, which drops in level 0-9.

Fractals are the least of your worries. 50 Globs of Ectoplasm and 250 Vials of Powerful Blood are basically just a big wall of NOPE.

If you doesn’t care about the stats, you can substitute the Power Blood with a much cheaper t6 mat, such as Ancient Bone.

I’ll look into that, and if I can get some stats I still like with something cheaper, perhaps I will substitute another material. But, I do ideally want the Swift Flight quiver with Power, Precision and Critical Damage, so I’d need the blood.
250 of anything is still a lot, and it’s just another roadblock in the way of ever hoping to get a Legendary — but that’s another topic.

Scroll down, and there’s the list of back items. Out of the materials used (Blood, Fang, Claw, Scale, Bone) I believe Bone is the cheapest. Good luck!
I got 3 drops by the time I hit lvl 10 of the item needed to craft the quiver. It seems to drop semi often, hopefully it won’t take you to long.

the p.blood drops more in the harpy fractal, so that’d be a good fractal to hit up.

i could also recommend to find 4 players needing the vial.
Choose 1st fractal to be ascalon OR dredge…..
Farm mobs with magic find equip/food if you have ….
You can also solo swamp mobs. with infinite spawns
GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Swamp mobs don’t drop anything anymore.
Just bring a new character into Fractals if you already have a 10+ main character, the drop chance seem to be insanely high for them. I got 3 vials on my first run once (Dredge) :S
Other than that bit of randomness, making a quiver in the mystic toilet is fairly cheap (think I spent like 15g on mine, I also had some materials laying around).
