Hey everyone.

I was discussing the Norn dance with my husband and some of my guildies last night and we hit upon an interesting idea about it.

Yes, part of the dance is the Carlton that everyone is referring to, but we thought the reference is too old for today’s young and hip players.

What if it is actually the “Lonely Boy” dance by The Black Keys? You know, that viral music video where they ended up just filming the security guard instead doing everything else they planned. According to the guard the dance is a mash up of moves from John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction, the Carlton Banks dance from The Fresh Prince and a little bit of Michael Jackson.

It seems to match up fairly well with the in game animations but I suck (and so does the rest of my guild) in syncing up the moves/videos with the Lonely Boy music clip.

Can any talented people out there confirm if we are in the ballpark with this?

Never saw the Lonely Boy vid before, had to search for it… and no, the Norn dance looks for me just like the Carlton and nothing like whatever I just saw.

I don’t know the arm flings are pretty exaggerated to match Lonely Boy. Compare the Norn dance to this Carlton clip, and you’ll see a lot of similarity.
